TruVisia 12V Cigarette Socket Power Cable
12V power cable for the TruVisia Dashcam. Plugs into your car’s cigarette lighter socket, so you can be recording within minutes of opening the box.
Fits the TruVisia Dashcam only. Not compatible with other dashcams. Check that your socket switches off with the ignition before leaving the camera plugged in overnight.
The quickest way to power up
Plug one end into your cigarette lighter socket and the other into the dashcam. Most people are recording within half an hour of opening the box, with no tools and nothing hidden behind trim.
Good to know
- For the TruVisia Dashcam only. The connector will not fit other dashcams.
- Most cars switch the 12V socket off with the ignition. A few keep it live, which can slowly drain the battery if the dashcam is left plugged in. To check, plug in a phone charger, turn the engine off and see whether it keeps charging. If it does, use the OBD-II or Hard Wire cable instead.
